Yassar Sa'dat
I began studying the trombone in 2005 at the Edward Said National Conservatory of Music in Palestine, where I received comprehensive musical training in trombone performance, music theory, and related academic subjects. During my studies, I participated in numerous concerts and artistic activities organized by the conservatory.
To further develop my musical education, I moved to Italy, where I studied at the Niccolò Paganini Conservatory of Music in Genoa. There, I earned both my Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees in Trombone Performance, receiving advanced artistic and academic training under distinguished professors.
Throughout my professional career, I have performed with numerous wind ensembles, symphony orchestras, and chamber groups, collaborating on a wide range of musical projects spanning classical, contemporary, and other musical genres. These experiences have provided me with extensive expertise in ensemble performance and artistic collaboration.
Alongside my performing career, I have dedicated myself to music education. For five years, I taught trombone at Filarmonica Pegliese “Marco Chiusamonti” in Genoa, Italy, where I trained students of different ages and levels while contributing to the band’s educational and artistic activities.
Upon returning to Palestine, I joined the Edward Said National Conservatory of Music, where I taught brass instruments for five years. I currently serve as Brass Instructor and Academic Supervisor of the Ramallah Branch at the Edward Said National Conservatory of Music. In this role, I oversee the branch’s academic programs, support curriculum development, supervise the educational process, and continue teaching brass students while actively participating in the conservatory’s artistic and educational initiatives.
My goal is to combine artistic excellence with educational leadership, contributing to the development of music education and inspiring the next generation of musicians through performance, teaching, and cultural engagement.
